Tom Banasiak

Tom Banasiak is a Diplomat of Asian Bodywork Therapy and a Certified Shiatsu Instructor. He has studied the energetic and physical properties of various bodywork modalities since 1978. He is licensed by the NYS Board of Massage Therapy and is also Certified in Zero Balancing. Since 1992 Tom has taught Shiatsu in the Eastern Department of the Swedish Institute College of Health Science here in NYC. He is currently the Chair of the Eastern Department. He was a professional ballet dancer for twenty years, 1966-86, touring the US with the best known stars of American Ballet Theatre and the New York City Ballet.
